The establisher of the University is the Russian Federation. Total powers of the establisher conducts the Ministry of Health of Russia. Altai State Medical University is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Russian Federation. It is just a state-financed organization, founded according to the applicable Laws and regulations of the Russian Federation.
Since 1967, the University has a specific council for defense of candidate, from 1995 - doctoral theses. The University has trained more than 20 000 graduates. Admission Criteria
The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English from a recognized educational establishment with min marks of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in aggregate (GEN) and 40% for (SC/ST).
